Jones Solicitors have a highly experienced professional team ready to deal with our client’s requirements. Jones Solicitors was established by James Jones, who after having spent eight years in a leading County Wicklow law firm chose to set up a progressive, client-focused law firm to meet the growing needs of a range of clients.
James is an honours graduate of University College Galway where he was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from D.I.T and completed his training with Jones Magee Solicitors. In addition, James obtained a Masters Degree in Law from D.I.T and recently completed the Law Society of Ireland’s Certificate in Mental Health Law and Capacity. He has also been admitted to the Role of Solicitors of England and Wales.
Following his qualification as a solicitor, James gained extensive experience in all areas of general practice including commercial litigation, conveyancing, licensing law, personal injury litigation, criminal litigation, debt collection matters, wills and probate/administration of estates, commercial and private leases, landlord and tenant law, employment and family law. James has been the successful instructing solicitor in a number of reported cases which have laid down legal precedents and have been reported in the Irish Reports.
James passed the Notary faculty of Ireland, Notary examination in May 2012.
